Pamper Yourself

Not because we're Christians, we do not have the right to pamper ourselves.

This week has been very busy. Lack of sleep.

My friend, Karen, texted me today and asked if we could go eat out coz she's craving for pizza. I was hesitant at first but I felt that discernment to do something for GOD. So I went out with her. We both got ourselves "Bunch of Lunch" at Shakey's composed of a piece of pizza, spaghetti, garlic bread, potato chips (not really chips - kind of), chicken and iced tea. I got myself a bottomless iced tea. That meal was yummy plus I get to enjoy it with a very long, close friend.

After that, I went to the salon to get my toes done. The lady was nice to me. I fear getting pedicures because some would give cuts while removing the dry skin so I was very pleased that the girl was pretty good to my toes. hehehe! And I got it painted with PINK nail polish! Very cute. hehehe! No pictures. hahaha! Yeah yeah yeah...I got a thing for toes...OCD! hahaha!

After that, my mom and I went to the mall to shop for gifts. She bought me a red sweater. I rarely stare at clothes. When I saw it, I knew right there and then that I'm pleased with it. I was thinking of winter, actually. Someday, I'll be experiencing winter. Exciting! But then, she told me I have to pay it to her on my next payday. hahaha! Oh well.

Today, I received my pink Bible. Yes I LOVE pink! hahaha! And I texted everyone to greet my friend, Julie Ann. It's her birthday today so I wanted the world to celebrate with her.

Anyway, what I'm trying to imply here is that. We work hard for our money. To use it wisely is what's important. We also need to pamper ourselves every once in a while (still in a wise way hahaha). Well, my expenses for today is very cheap, actually (pedicure=$2; food=$7; sweater=$4). Way back then, I've had so many debts just for useless expenses such as unnecessary ones and for fun. When GOD won me back, I was totally transformed. I've learned how to save money for the rain. I've learned how to not make unnecessary purchases. I must say, GOD HAS BLESSED ME SO MUCH!!!

You are blessed. GOD is blessing you to pamper yourself sometimes, dear princess of GOD!

I GIVE BACK ALL THE GLORY TO GOD!!!

GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY! GOD LOVES YOU ALWAYS! TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!

P.U.S.H.

When you feel GOD's love, OVERFLOW!

Thank you for this post. I've been struggling with this very subject. I've been overwhelmed a lot, and remind myself that God never gives us more than we can handle.
But there are times I wish I had time for just me to relax and unwind. Those times rarely happen.
The downfall though is I start to feel sorry for myself, but have been able to stop it right away. So this post was a blessing for me.
God Bless You for this beautiful blog and post. What a blessing you are to me.
God Bless

Pamper yourself, my dear friend. GOD will be pleased if you take a break once in a while and take care of your body. Remember that when the physical body fails, the spiritual can be restless. GOD's Strength be upon you always!
