1.) Cheerfully greets all employees with a smile regardless of their job status.
2.) Properly calls people by name (and title when appropriate).
3.) Never considers himself or herself above doing menial task or helping someone.
4.) Delegates but does not dump his or her task on others.
5.) Privately and constructively critiques an employee who has made an error, no matter how insignificant or outstandingly bad.
6.) Displays an appropriate sense of humor in proper circumstances.
7.) Is self-deprecating, always willing to take responsibility for errors, never placing blame on others.
8.) Is not self-absorbed, but interested in others - an attentive listener.
9.) Never expects employees to keep rules he or she is unwilling to observe.
10.) Treats employees of the opposite sex as business professionals and does not require females to do the traditionally "old-fashioned female chores."
I saw this poster at my mom's office and thought, "Why not put it on my blog?"
I will never know who's gonna come over and read my blog.
