Are You Really Thanking GOD Enough?

Busy life.

Yes, indeed!

Along this busy life, I have been treading a path full of trials and struggles. Just amazing how GOD can change a person from the inside out. I can feel it in me. I can notice from the people I talk to everyday. Just amazing how I was in the world and now I am so different.

GOD's grace and mercy is overflowing within this sinner.

GOD has taught me to be firm and steadfast in this faith. The faith that HE has entrusted to me.

I'd like to share 2 things that I've learned. Two things that I've been pondering about. One was shared by Cody (something that has been on my mind lately - so timely when he shared this - it's the first one). One was something I've learned from my experiences and I know you have, too.

Some people say that we need to count our blessings and need to thank GOD for the blessings and trials. There are two things that we most often than not forget to be thankful for:

1.) Be thankful to GOD for your prayers that HE didn't do.

Why? Because GOD has HIS own Perfect Will for our lives.

2.) Be thankful to GOD for giving what you need and not what you want.

Why? GOD has our best interests in mind.

Now I'm handing it on to you. Have a blessed life. Desire for GOD's Wisdom and HE will certainly fill you up with beautiful insights.

GOD's Ministry

GOD's Ministry can be really physically draining but SO rewarding!

The more you obey your calling from GOD, the more you will feel blessed. In GOD's ministry, one key that you need to have is to always get back to the SOURCE. Never run away from HIS Presence or you will run out of strength to complete your commitment.

When GOD won me back to HIS ministry completely last 2007, I surrendered my life. And I don't want it back. hehehe! I like saying that because a life offered to GOD is a life worth living.

I forgot where I've read this phrase but it really stuck in my mind...

COMPLETE YOUR COMMITMENT

I have been busy working. My work is my ministry so I don't regret it. I deal with a lot of people. All days I get drained physically. When I come home, I just sit on the sofa for hours. Still doing another ministry - text ministry. It just feels SO rewarding to see students smile at me everyday and call me by my name. I had to go out with a friend today. Another ministry. hehehe! Yes I do fellowship ministry. I believe that fellowship is also a ministry because it's a way of showing/sharing JESUS CHRIST to others and being an influence to them. A Godly influence, that is. I hope I didn't sound like I'm bragging but I just like to encourage every Christian to take advantage of every opportunity to become your ministry. To publicly declare our faith by showing JESUS CHRIST to them. To the lost and needy.

I am so glad that tonight, people are desiring to have fellowship with me because they need someone to listen to their problems. You know what I've learned? These are the days wherein people are in need of help. Let's take advantage of this, my friends. An advantage to give our special time whenever others need it. You'll never know how much you can make an impact to someone without spending time with that person. Do not give up because GOD has HIS own Perfect Timing for everything. The friends I have continued to minister to even if they've obviously ignored me at times are now wanting to schedule appointments with me. These people need GOD more than anyone and anything else in this world. I declare that people will come to you for help and that you don't need to search for them because they will willingly share their lives to you and in return, you will share with them our SAVIOR.

I pray for SPIRITUAL BREAKTHROUGH upon you and GOD's ministry in your life.

OUR BEAUTIFUL GOD IS USING YOU MIGHTILY IN HIS BEAUTIFUL KINGDOM!!!

In Your Love

Lyrics

I am humbled in Your presence
More desperate than before
I've brushed against Your mercy
Yet still I'm wanting more
I have felt the hand of comfort
In the softness of Your touch
I wait...

I am holding on to promises
I'm counting on the truth
And on these knees I'm faltering
I'm calling out to You

In Your love
I find my resting place
In Your love
I find my shelter
When I lay down all that I've been holding to
The beauty I've found in You
Is sweeter than all I've known
In Your love

I surrender all my failings
Please break these chains of doubt
I bring these simple offerings of what I can't work out
Won't You let these healing waters anoint my troubled soul
I wait...

(Holding on to promises...)
I am holding on to promises
I'm counting on the truth
On these knees I'm faltering
I'm calling out to You

In Your love
I find my resting place
In Your love
I find my shelter
When I lay down all that I've been holding to
The beauty I found in You
Is sweeter than all I've known
In Your love
(I wait...)

In Your love
I find my resting place
In Your love
I find my shelter
When I lay down all that I've been holding to
The beauty I've found in You is sweeter than all I've known
In Your love
(In Your love)
I find my shelter
When I lay down all that I've been holding to
The beauty I've found in You is sweeter than all I've known
(In Your love...)

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Last night, we already gave our daddy our gifts. When he saw the paper bag, he was so excited and all smiles. He is like a kid nowadays. It's Sunday night here now. My sister greeted him but I did not. I wanted to say it but my lips failed me. That, I do not know why so I just waited for the real day.

The real day has come. This morning, I failed to greet him again as they went to service earlier than me coz my mom is the emcee for today. When I came to service and we had worship, I greeted GOD - HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! Now I know why. The first greeting of this special day is for our Heavenly Father before anyone else. HE created all the fathers in the world.

So now, after GOD and my dad, my greeting is yours. To all daddies, husbands, brothers, uncles - HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! Being a father is not only for those who have children biologically. It can also be someone who fostered a child. It can be someone who babysat or someone who took care of you for a week or so. Most of all, it can also be spiritually.

Without much ado, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

For all the dads in the world, here is an award for you. For your sacrifices and love. I chose the above image because I remembered the "Footprints in the Sand" and I thought of how GOD is being represented in that story as our FATHER. To all the fathers in the world, thank you for carrying the burdens in your family and being great leaders of your homes. You are all one-of-a-kind!

I guess I'm so behind the blog world. I will not regret it though as GOD is doing mighty things in my side of the world. So many updates. I don't know who can be interested to read now since I don't comment to other blogs anymore. Oh well. I'd like to take this opportunity to appreciate faithful friends in the blog world who have never ceased to comment in my blog even if I do not reciprocate. I have been very busy. I've been spending my time with the people I'm ministering to such as young people at school and my long-ago friends. Been very busy with work which is also GOD's ministry for me. During my free time, I pursue GOD more and I can never be thankful enough for every breakthrough HE has been giving me. I've read in a book that before the storm comes, you must be prepared in every aspect so you will never be blown away when the strong wind comes. Your preparation is your shield against the works of the enemy. My secrets: GOD's Word, prayer, worship, fellowship with believers and intimacy with GOD. As what my sister shared to me...having secrets means selfishness. So now, I am gonna share my secrets. hehehe!

Okay...I'd like to recognize the people who have been faithfully commenting on my page since I became their friend. You are very much appreciated, my friends. (order of appearance in my comments from 2 of my latest blogposts hehehe)

Turning Point

I've been pondering so long what title I should use for this post. I was experimenting then I suddenly thought of the above title, I had GOD's peace in my heart.

The day that Kuya Israel visited my dad, he talked about turning point. And I agreed without a doubt.

Everyone has his own turning point.

Sometimes, even how long you have become a Christian, you still don't put Christianity into action. Sometimes, it's the opposite.

If you have been a faithful reader of my blog, you already know what happened to my dad last May. My dad testified in front of our congregation last Sunday about his life story and the accident. That was my signal to share some about him to the world for GOD's glory in his life. A beautiful testimony.

My dad had so many vices. A generational curse. He jumped from a two-storey building because they had trouble in a bar with his friends. My dad has a huge improvement now from the May 16th accident. His stories have been more consistent and beautiful. The first and second week after the accident, he talked a lot about death and violence. But now, this is his consistent story to us...

"GOD toured me around familiar places. HE toured me at the school. HE let me see images of you, my family, and of me with my friends drinking. HE told me how I was wasting money on vices and my family just staying at home without the head of the family. GOD showed me my siblings and my family when all of you were in the hospital worried about me. GOD showed me how my siblings have been suffering because of poverty and I was just out having fun with my friends. Since I was doing all of that, HE asked me to go with HIM and leave all of you. I wept and asked for another chance. I told HIM that I will change now and turn away from all vices. I will change my life and be a father to my children and a husband to my wife. GOD gave me another chance. I also told HIM to change me because my family alone cannot help me. Only HE can change me."

This happened before he has been conscious at the hospital. He said when GOD put him back at the hospital, he saw us laying our hands on him and praying for him at the Emergency Room. Actually, when I've placed my hand on his left leg while I was praying, that leg suddenly jerked and moved. I knew then that my dad was safe. Safe in the arms of our FATHER. My dad has been given a second chance to live. He has experienced two divine visitations. You have no idea how much we are very happy about this. GOD gave him his turning point. We waited for more than 25 years for him to change and surrender his life to GOD. Now, it has come. Every wait is truly worth it. I seal my dad with the covering of the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. Peace and Kingdom of GOD upon him all his life.

So for all those who have been waiting for a child, husband/wife, sister/brother, parent, relative or friend to be transformed by GOD, just wait and be patient. Don't ever forget to keep believing and wait for GOD's Perfect Timing. Don't force them to change because only GOD can transform hearts.

I am a living testimony of that fact.

GOD IS GREAT!!! TRULY, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD!!! ALL THE GLORY BELONGS TO GOD ALONE!!!

In friendship...

you win some and you lose some.

Some people will just leave you hanging somewhere. Some people will totally ignore you if you've done something they don't like. Or if you are something they don't like. They will not confront you. They'll just throw you out of their lives without a warning. Some people are too honest to admit that they don't need you anymore. Some are just too nice to tell you that your beliefs suck. That you're not in tune to what the world believes in. Some people are just too proud to see that they also commit mistakes and for them, they're always right. Some people get hurt by the truth that you've shared with them and they just trash you out because they don't like hurting that much to know that they need to grow.

Different kinds of personalities.

No I did not experience all of these. I have heard some stories though from other people.

But you know what? We don't have to fret because our BEST FRIEND (GOD) will never leave us.

Something that I have learned today that I'd like to share through a text quote sent to me earlier...

"a person's most useful asset is not the head full of knowledge, but a heart full of love, with an ear open to listen and a hand willing to help."

I hope that in your journey, you may find real friends who will never leave you along the way. First of all, I pray that you will be a real friend to every person you meet.

(UPDATED VERSION)

I received this email devotional today (June 16, 2009)...

A Perfect Friend

PROVERBS 18:24 RSV
24 There are friends who pretend to be friends, but there is a
friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Would you like to have a perfect friend?

A friend who loved you no matter what you did.

A friend who would always be there when you needed them.

A friend who knew you intimately yet still loved you.

A friend who always encouraged you and never put you down.

A friend who was smart but not conceited.

A friend who had no personal problems to distract them.

A friend who was powerful and famous, yet down-to-earth and
approachable.

A friend who is righteous yet merciful to others.

A friend who never makes a mistake.

A friend who enjoyed having a good time and sharing a laugh
with you.

A friend who had the knowledge and ability to help you with
everything.

A friend who is not too good to wash your feet or clean your
toilet, yet talented enough to be the best at everything.

A friend who puts your interests ahead of their own.

A friend who loves you more than you love yourself.

A friend who would be willing to die for you.

There is only one. His name is Jesus, and He wants to be your
friend.

The Kingdom of GOD

Do you know the power of claiming GOD's Kingdom in your life?

If not, please read on.

This should be short. hehehe!

I have read one of Max Lucado's article through an email devotional about GOD's Kingdom. An article sent to me long ago. Can't remember when. He has shared a wonderful insight about JESUS' prayer with the phrase "Thy Kingdom Come."

I have been opened more to the power it gives. After a few weeks of reading his article, I've forgotten everything about it. Until, Kuya Israel had his visit to my dad. He has given me pointers about spiritual weapons I could use against the enemy. Offense and defense. One of which is the "Kingdom of GOD." He said that in GOD's Kingdom, there is no sickness, no pain, no sin...nothing from the devil.

From then on, I was opened to another powerful insight (thanks to GOD's Wisdom) that we should always claim the KINGDOM OF GOD in our lives.

GOD'S KINGDOM be upon you everyday, my dear friend in CHRIST!

I told you it was going to be short. I kept my word. hehehe!

The Seventy-Times-Seven Club

Matthew 18:21-22 (NKJV)
Then Peter came and said to Him, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."

Got this idea (my email devotional for June 14, 2009) from Dennis Rainey of FamilyLife. Do you want to join this club?

If you wish to subscribe to Dennis and Barbara Rainey's email devotionals (Moments Together for Couples), please just click this ~> Crosswalk or visit their website stated above.

Someone random sent me a text message weeks ago asking me if I wanted to join their clan. The first thing I asked is their name. Second is their vision. These things are very important.

I believe that one of the visions of "THE SEVENTY-TIMES-SEVEN CLUB" is to give you freedom from a cruel bondage as anger gives the devil a foothold. In fact, a stronghold.

Ephesians 4:26-27 (NIV)
"In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.

I'm sure you want freedom. Definitely, freedom from anger. Join our club.

Remind Yourself to be Humble

MY MESSAGE IS ABOUT HIM
by Max Lucado

(not full article)
For the life of me, I believe Satan trains battalions of demons to whisper one question in our ears: “What are people thinking of you?”
A deadly query. What they think of us matters not. What they think of God matters all. God will not share his glory with another (Isaiah 42:8). Next time you need a nudge away from the spotlight, remember: You are simply one link in a chain, an unimportant link at that.
Remember the other messengers God has used?
A donkey to speak to Balaam (Numbers 22:28).
A staff-turned-snake to stir Pharaoh (Exodus 7:10).
He used stubborn oxen to make a point about reverence and a big fish to make a point about reluctant preachers (I Samuel 6:1-12; Jonah 1:1-17)
God doesn’t need you and me to do his work. We are expedient messengers, ambassadors by his kindness, not by our cleverness.
It’s not about us, and it angers him when we think it is.
We who are entrusted with the gospel dare not seek applause but best deflect applause. For our message is about Someone else.

If you wish to subscribe to this email devotional, just visit his website Max Lucado

I have been reading Proverbs lately. It is always important to ask for GOD's Wisdom. In order to enrich this wisdom with more of HIS Word, I advise you to read the whole Proverbs. Yes we have the faith and we pray everyday but we need GOD's Wisdom to discern right from wrong and simply to discern what GOD really wants us to do.

My devotional Scripture verses this morning...

Psalm 1:2-3
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on HIS law he meditates day and night.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.

Testimony:
GOD is certainly using one of HIS ambassadors to fulfill one of my greatest desires. I am going to take drum lessons starting this week. hehehe! Yes, one of my greatest desires is to learn how to play the drums. My soon-to-be drum teacher told me to use it for the glory of the LORD. I am reminded of my ultimate purpose in desiring this skill. GOD gave me this desire so ALL THE GLORY BELONGS TO HIM ALONE!!!

I challenge you right now to glorify GOD in everything you do. Simply not desiring anything but to glorify HIM alone.

I have already highlighted this song before.

As some of you may know, my family and I are undergoing a trial. This trial has been my dad's testimony. This trial has been giving me lessons to learn and share with others. Last Wednesday night, I asked one of my cell members who leads worship in their congregation to lead us with a worship song for our cell meeting. She is only 15 years old. She said she's ready. I never asked her what song she's gonna sing for our scheduled cell meeting last Thursday. Amazingly, she told me it's the Desert Song. Oh how I LOVE this song! This song was introduced to me last year by my friend Shadee.

What is your DESERT right now? Tell your desert that you have a GREAT GOD!

5 Things You Need in Spiritual Warfare

What your eyes see is not all that exists!

That I firmly believe. Why? Because GOD IS SPIRIT. And the battle is more on the SPIRIT.

What I'll be sharing is what I've learned this week from our trials. Trials with my mom. One of the huge trials that we're experiencing right now is my dad's amnesia. Yes he needs the physical healing. But that's not all I see. I ended with the ROOT CAUSE of it all. Why he had that accident? We believe that BY JESUS' STRIPES, HE IS HEALED!

What I'll be sharing is a lesson I've shared with 3 youths today. Three faithful youths who are very close to my heart. I'm glad I'm back on track with my youth cell group. GOD has impressed a bigger task that needs a lot of preparation so please pray for me and for us. My team and I.

Anyway, back to the topic...

5 Things You Need in Spiritual Warfare

1.) Weapons

~There are so many spiritual weapons we can use. Whenever you encounter something, you need a certain weapon for that. You can never enter a battle without a weapon. One of the spiritual weapons I know is the "BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST." The Blood of JESUS CHRIST is a seal/protection/immunity from the enemy's attacks. It is very powerful. I advise that you use this for the world crisis: A(H1N1).

2 Corinthians 10:3-4
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

2.) Wisdom

~It is not enough to know your weapons. GOD's Wisdom is very important. Ask it from GOD and it shall be given to you. Wisdom to know what weapons to use such as for offense and defense.

I've been reading Proverbs lately. One of my most-read books in the Bible. GOD's Great Wisdom bestowed upon Solomon.

3.) Prayer

~Prayer is a way of communicating with our FATHER. Prayer is one of the most powerful keys in the spiritual realm. Prayer makes things possible and effective. Prayer makes someone more committed and focused.

James 5:16
...The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Matthew 21:22
If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.

4.) Faith

~When you say a prayer, you just don't utter the words. Your heart must have faith. Faith is very important. Believing that GOD exists is faith. With faith, you have nothing to lose. In fact, you gain more. MORE OF GOD.

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

5.) GOD'S PERFECT TIMING

~After everything above, it is very important to wait for GOD's Perfect Timing. It is certainly not enough to know GOD's Perfect Will.

Ecclesiastes 3:1
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven

Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Testimony:
Yesterday, my dad had a tantrum. We didn't know where it came from or the cause of it. But we know what we need to do. So we said our weapons, asked and used GOD's Wisdom, prayed for GOD's peace and kingdom upon my dad, and believe that everything we desire will happen (faith). But sadly, my dad didn't want to go home with us after working all day. He even got mad that we're asking him to go home. I stayed silent and thought a lot. I was thinking that we already did everything we can as humans. My mom asked me what we should do. My answer: Go Home. Where is our Home? Go GOD! GOD impressed in my heart to go home and that it's HIS turn. So we went home. My mom and I kept praying on our own. My mom kept on singing worship songs. After an hour or less, my dad came home. Safe and sound. It is very important to wait for GOD's Perfect Timing. I would very much like to thank Kuya Israel for helping me this week. I needed the boost and gain this spiritual breakthrough. Spiritual breakthrough is one of my biggest desires. Thank GOD for the people HE uses! Thank GOD for HIMSELF!

The First and Last Resort that My Heart Desires

We are always in a SPIRITUAL WARFARE!!!

After my dad's accident, I saw the symptoms. I kept it to myself. I know but I need to know more.

When people can focus on what they can see such as the physical and the internal body, I focused on the spiritual. I hunger to take up Psychology to better understand the differences of science from the spiritual aspect. For now, I deeply know that everywhere and everything is a spiritual warfare. The spiritual battle is indeed more than what our eyes can see.

Yesterday, my dad was triggered to do something that he was not allowed to do. This caused my mom to worry and switch her emotional alarm. I stayed calm. If my mom could not be strong, I had to be. For my dad, at least. I tried to stay on course. The first and last resort I'd like to do is ask for help from our Pastor for spiritual deliverance. Not a simple one, I must say. But then, he isn't here until July so I asked help from another spiritual leader who has been a real friend to me. Kuya Israel. A man of GOD who has a heart for GOD's people and ministry. He offered his time with us this morning to observe and know more about my dad's situation. He then saw a lot of aspects. The root of it all and the series of deliverance needed for this. GOD HAS ALREADY WON THE BATTLE! This is what my heart continues to believe.

The visit of Kuya Israel gave me a new level of spiritual breakthrough. Another chance for my optimism to grow. I have been struggling with my optimism lately so I needed a boost from a spiritual leader. Based from experience, all leaders undergo struggles. Temperaments that are needed to overcome. We still control our hearts, minds, souls and spirits. We are given the freedom of choice. I'd rather do something than nothing in times like these so I won't regret anything in the end. Now, the battle has begun!!! Know your weapons.

So today, I've received my revelations to the choice I've made. The choice of staying and battling in this spiritual warfare.

First, my morning devotions from my Bible (not full article)...

Hanging on to Hope

Read: Job 31:1-40

"SOMETIMES FAITH is hanging on in the dark."These words, spoken by a wise woman, were offered as solace to a suffering friend. Sometimes things just don't make sense. Sometimes we simply can't see beyond the pain. Sometimes we can't even manage to utter a prayer.
In those dark nights - when life seems to suffocate us with sorrow - faith compels us to hang on. We've seen that Job, who suffered great losses, felt that way. Job 31 records the final words of Job's defense before GOD after his three friends filled the air with their empty explanations of why Job had suffered so greatly.
Job recounted his actions based on his heart for GOD, although he never knew what had happened in heaven to instigate his suffering. While we may learn GOD's reasons later (sometimes only in eternity), for now all that is required is for us to "hang on in the dark" until GOD's light illumines the way again.

Another one from last week (not full article)...

The Patience of Job

Read: Job 13:1-28

When something tragic happens, we often scramble to figure out why. Did I sin? Did they sin? If we didn't sin, then who sinned? Like Job's friends, we just want to affix blame so we can make some kind of sense out of the seemingly senseless. But not all suffering is the direct result of sin. Paul's thorn in the flesh was not given to him because he was such a sinner, but because GOD wanted him to understand something important about suffering. GOD said, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9).

An email devotional this morning (not full article)...

by Max Lucado

God is for you. Not “may be,” not “has been,” not “was,” not “would be,” but “God is!” He is for you. Today. At this hour. At this minute. As you read this sentence. No need to wait in line or come back tomorrow. He is with you. He could not be closer than he is at this second. His loyalty won’t increase if you are better nor lessen if you are worse. He is for you.

Hope these devotionals have given you another chance to change your mindset. Another way to be optimistic.

PRAYER REQUEST: Please pray for my dad. Please rebuke the works of the enemy in his life and claim the kingdom of GOD upon him always. Thank you. If you have any prayer requests, you can also share them. Asking for prayer requests doesn't mean you're weak. It means your strong enough to ask for help because you cannot do it alone. All of us should unite in prayer.

Shoutout to purekrystal

Hi, my friend! Would you be so kind to change your comment form placement for me? It can be found under the Settings portion then go to Comments and tick on any option under Comment Form Placement except Embedded Below Post. Thank you.

Embedded Below Post disables me from giving comments in Blogger. I don't know why. Just a glitch for me, I guess.

Anyway, this goes out to anyone who's reading this right now. hehehe!

purekrystal - I'm so humbled that you have posted my blogpost in your blog. Thank you so much. ALL THE GLORY BELONGS TO GOD ALONE!!!

My One-Day Summer Vacation

My summer vacation all in one day.

I REALLY NEED this.

Before summer, I was already working. Summer came, still working.

My sisters spent their vacations here so I never had time alone. I had to share my room with them which is great because I LOVE them and MISS them every day they're away.

Although, all of us need that time ALONE (if you know what I mean).

I've had my own share of failings spiritually. This summer, I had so many. I got SO BUSY at work. I've had my fair share of struggles. Difficulties. Hard battles won by GOD in my life.

And today is MY DAY of being alone. The good time alone. Thank GOD!

Last night, I was worried that my dad might not go with my mom and sister. They were scheduled to go to my sister's high school for her upcoming classes tomorrow. My dad, who currently has amnesia, kept forgetting and he even said he won't go with them. Last night, I prayed so hard because I know I really need time alone. This summer was also spent to babysit my dad. I had to sacrifice my shopping time, fellowship with friends and so much more fun things I would have done because of my dad. But believe me, it was all WORTH it because I LOVE MY DAD SO MUCH. I LOVE seeing him laugh and smile all the time which was so rare before the accident. Now, my dad is like a kid who laughs even if gets the rotten moods. He has improved a lot with his memory if you need an update. hehehe!

In the way, I got so busy that I had left out my spiritual time with GOD. And I felt so LOST.

When my dad showered early this morning around 1am and they all left for the trip at 2am, I was SO relieved. I couldn't stop thanking GOD for this gift - my time alone. I've missed being able to talk to GOD verbally and loudly. I DID THIS MORNING! It was long enough and I LOVE it! It was quite long ago since my last "said-aloud" prayer. I've missed this. Happily, I'm back on track. PRAISE GOD!!! HE did it all for me.

I really need to go back to my FIRST LOVE.

How did you spend your summertime? For US residents, how will you spend your summer vacation? You have months to celebrate it. I had ONE DAY and I'm satisfied.

All of us need a break. Break from school. Break from work. Take a break from your busy schedule. ENJOY YOUR SUMMER!!!

It was like a year of summer vacation for me. For One More Beautiful Day. And it was all I needed. This was my last chance for this year and I GOT IT! GLORY TO GOD ALONE!

Keep Believing ~> Destination

As you can see, the blog has a new look! Yes, I'm changing things around here.

But I'll still keep on believing.

I have focused on my favorite color - all shades of BLUE. I'm giving the blog a touch of the sky. If you can notice, I LOVE blue waters and white sand beaches. I have dreamed of a house near the beach. Someday. Let's see what I can do about that.

Amazingly, as I was trying to think and pray for the image I'll set for the header, GOD led me back to the same website. The things I LOVE. As I was searching for the beaches on the sidebar in the website, I clicked on DESTINATIONS.

I was amazed. I have so many dreams. So where is my destination? I asked GOD.

I have been struggling again lately. I LOVE struggles because it draws me nearer to the ONE who can make me whole. But it is not easy that's why they're called difficulties, right?

I asked Cody, "how much longer do I have to wait?"

I know he doesn't know the answer to that. The answer is with the GOD who created my past, present and future.

So my FATHER shook me and whispered, "KEEP BELIEVING, MY child. Your beautiful future is in MY HANDS."

That explains the Scripture verse in the header above. One of my rhema verses...

Mark 11:24
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

When you're going out of the way, go back to the SOURCE OF LOVE! Only HE can save you from falling off the brinks of life.

I almost lost it. But I know that my FATHER will never allow it. I went back to HIM. HE welcomed me with arms wide open without hesitation. HE revived me once again. HE asked me to wait and believe. And I shall reach my destination in no time.

My FATHER is your FATHER.

My GOD

Lyrics:

All my life You have been with me
How could I pretend not to see
I was walking on the line
I was wasting precious time
All I know is that You love me
If I call You will set me free
It's a promise that You made
It's the truth that will not change
Please help me to remember
My God has never let me down
My God has turned my world around
He loves me even though I know
I don't deserve Him
My God has never turned away
He's with me every single day
He's broken all the chains and
set this captive free
Seems to you all your hope is gone
Never found a love that strong
It's a chance you have to take
A choice you've got to make
I hope that you'll remember
My God will never let you down
My God can turned your world around
He loves us even though I know
we don't deserve Him
My God will never turn away
He's with you every single day
He's broken all the chains and
set this captive free
My God will never let you down
My God can turned your world around
He loves us even though I know
we don't deserve Him
My God will never turn away
He's with you every single day
He's broken all the chains and
set this captive free
My God has never let me down
My God has turned my world around
He loves me even though I know
I don't deserve Him
My God has never turned away
He's with me every single day
He's broken all the chains and
set this captive free
My God will never let you down
My God can turned your world around
He loves us even though I know
we don't deserve Him
My God will never turn away
He's with you every single day
He's broken all the chains and
set this captive free
Set this captive free.....

A Quote to Ponder

Not only ponder but live each day.

Let this enlighten you. Let this be instilled in you everywhere you go. Whatever you do. Anytime, too.

Don't let it pass through you. Absorb it and walk with it all throughout your life.

Visiting Blogs

I'm doing it alphabetically (thank you Yasemin for the idea). And now, I'm almost done with letter "B" for the blog titles. So if I haven't commented in your blog yet, please have patience with me. I'm really trying to catch up. I'm not busy today because we're having heavy rains every once in a while so my dad told us to not work today. He's a bit grumpy today. I'm praying for the Holy Spirit to fill him completely.

I need to have breaks in between so that I won't get a stiffed neck. hehehe!

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL ABUNDANTLY! P.U.S.H.

iLoveYou all so dearly, my friends in CHRIST!

Thankful Thursday - GOD OF INCREASE!

You can check out more blogs at Laurie for others' Thankful Thursday.

Oh jeez...I am going to be a bit materialistic today. hehehe! If you can call it materialistic. I'm just super amazed!

I just got my confirmation tonight regarding the GOOD NEWS about work. Drum roll please. hehehe!

Before that, I gotta let you hang first.

First, I want to thank GOD for peanut butter. hahaha! I am such an addict of PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICH. Not commercialized peanut butter - I'm a fan of HOMEMADE! No jelly. I eat 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. 4 sandwiches everyday. And no, my belly isn't getting fat.

Second, I want to thank GOD for kernel corn. I can eat the yellow corn on the cob but I like it the easier way. hahaha! I just LOVE the commercialized yellow corn in the can. I can actually munch it like chips while watching tv. The whole can. hahaha! If my mom would allow me to. It might not be as healthy as the corn in the cob. Sorry to disappoint you. hehehe!

Third, I want to thank GOD for my SALARY INCREASE! Yippee! My raise is almost 1/4 of my monthly salary in just a year. Just amazing. I was praying for GOD to do a miracle with my expenses and voila! HE did something unexpected once again. Whoever said that recession can pull down the power of GOD? ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD!!!

So am I not materialistic in this post? hahaha! Guess not. hahaha!

I want to genuinely and seriously thank GOD for the faithful readers and commentators of this blog. You are all GOD's blessings to me. Thank you so much for understanding me in spite of my busy-ness. I must catch up with the blogs. Very soon.

Most of all, I want to thank GOD because HE IS MY JOY!!!

Lyrics:

And He set me on fire, and I am burning alive.
With His breath in my lungs I am coming undone.
And I cannot hold it in and remain composed.
Love's taken over me and so I propose the letting myself go.
I am letting myself go.

You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.

I need to catch my breath, I need to.
I need to catch my breath, give me a moment now.

You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.
You are my joy.

I'm laughing so hard...

Quotable Quotes

Once again, my phone inbox is full. Gotta delete some. I'll post them here.

A "smile" is a sign of joy. A "hug" is a sign of love. A "laugh" is a sign of happiness. And "YOU" are a sign of GOD's LOVE. ~Ate Lenlen

We are tested by major changes, delayed promises, impossible problems, unanswered prayers, undeserved criticism, and even senseless tragedies. But the good news is that GOD wants us to pass the tests of life. So HE never allows the tests we face to be greater than the GRACE HE gives us to handle them. ~Ms. Maricel

"It's not in how many mornings you've seen the sun rise up, but how well you used its light to see the day." ~Jerevy

Don't run ahead of GOD. Let HIM direct your steps. HE has plans and HE has time. GOD's clock is never early nor late. It always strikes on time. ~Ate Lenlen

Nothing is hard if the heart is PRAYING; Nothing is impossible when the heart has FAITH; Nothing is heavy when we PRAY in JESUS name. ~Pastora Girlie

When problems snatch the last piece of courage in your heart, remember that you still have the best words of comfort from the ONE who gave up HIS life for you. GOD loves you so much. ~Nonie

If you ask it from GOD in prayer, believe that it will be given to you. No matter how small the possibility is, by simply believing in it and putting hope in the LORD, 1% of possibility can go as far as 100%. Pray that our hearts be cleansed from any doubts. Faith can move mountains. ~Julie Ann

WITHOUT GOD... we are nothing - Galatians 6:3, we have nothing - 1 Corinthians 4:7, we know nothing - 1 Corinthians 8:2, and we can do nothing - John 15:5. IF GOD IS IN US, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. ~Ms. Maricel

I asked for strength, and GOD gave me DIFFICULTIES to make me strong. I asked for wisdom, and GOD gave me PROBLEMS to solve. I asked for prosperity, and GOD gave me BRAIN and BRAWN to work. I asked for courage, and GOD gave me DANGER to overcome. I asked love, and GOD gave me TROUBLED PEOPLE to help. I asked for favors, and GOD gave me OPPORTUNITIES. I received nothing I WANTED. But I received everything I NEEDED! The LORD knows what's best for us. ~Ms. Maricel

If you are planning for a year, plant grains; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a century, plant men. ~Ate Lenlen

I was lost. I was hurt. It had never been good. Until Someone came... It was HIM. I know it is HIM. The One I've been longing for... And realized, that for the days I was lost and hurt, HE found and sacrifice it all for me. My Savior, My Way, My Life, My Inspiration. My GOD. ~Nonie

Every sacrifice has a fruitful reward. Every failure has a second chance. We only have to be strong by GOD's grace to persevere in the tests of life. ~Ate Cathy

It's amazing to realize that living in simplicity gives true contentment. We go as we come to this world. In the end, nothing is ours to keep. So, find a quiet moment today and think of all your blessings. It will be interesting to know that good days always outnumber the bad ones. ~Julie Ann

Life is GOOD when you're happy and life is BETTER when you make others happy but life is at its BEST when GOD is happy and pleased because of you. ~Marie Fe

Living a life without prayers is like building a house without nails. Truly our LORD is our firm foundation. When the storm comes, we will not be SHAKEN. ~Julie Ann

The devil cannot take you out because favor will keep you in the game. You are blessed and highly favored by the LORD coz HE chose you. The devil cannot touch you, your enemies cannot hurt you. You cannot be cursed, people can put your down BUT GOD LIFTS YOU UP because you have FAVOR, for the faithfulness of GOD will outlive every trial and every situation because great is HIS faithfulness. ~Jergens

New Blessings and For One More Day

Last week, I verbally prayed to GOD that I desire for undergarments and sneakers. I was thinking of my salary. I have neglected some of my necessities because of more important things. Now, I really need them. You have no idea. hehehe!

GOD used my mom to bless me with undergarments and sneakers this Sunday. Yay! GOD is so great! I'm a fan of sneakers. I love wearing sneakers because they're comfy and they protect my feet from destruction. hehehe! These are my new blessings. Every day is a blessing for me.

For One More Day by Mitch Albom. Have you read this book yet? If not, go to your nearest bookstore now. hehehe! I'm hooked! I started reading this book last Sunday night. I was unable to read again because of busy-ness and exhaustion. I would like to share quotes from this book that stole my heart...

"When you're rotten about yourself, you become rotten to everyone else, even those you love."

"...and that's the thing when your parents die, you feel like instead of going into every fight with backup, you are going into every fight alone."

"And being unheard is the ground floor of giving up, and giving up is the ground floor of doing yourself in."

~~~from Charles "Chick" Benetto
First, you gotta love yourself. Love others. Above all, LOVE GOD. You have to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.
I'd like to share some songs that blessed my heart so much...
These 2 songs, I've watched them in 7 eleven's tv while waiting...
As I was trying to check new posts from the blogs I'm following in my dashboard, I couldn't help but feel kind of sad that I have a lot to catch up with. I have seen titles that really caught my attention and I really desire to read all of the blogs and comment in them. I gotta do what Lisa does. She reads blogs alphabetically. I should do that. hehehe!
Busy weekend. I had to do a lot of errands. My computer was messing up again so I couldn't use it.
Monday and boy, I have never been this busy all my life. I couldn't even eat my lunch. If I was not preoccupied physically, I was mentally. But I make it a point that when I come home, I forget all about work. I do not bring home some work, too. That's the covenant I have given myself. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, anyway. I was SO exhausted from releasing a LOT of books that I slept at 7pm almost right after dinner. I had to wake up at 1pm to drop my sister at another town because she had to travel for 6 hours to her school for their enrollment for this coming school year. One of her friends was late so I came back home around 5:30am.
While my sister and I were waiting in our seats for her friends inside a 7 eleven store, infront of us was a glass wall. While I was staring at the glass wall, I saw a grasshopper creeping to the top. I began to tap the wall seeing if the grasshopper would be bothered and fall down. It didn't. GOD has impressed an insight in me.
We are like grasshoppers. Trials can tap us, bother us, pull us down or give us pain. It is the freedom inside us that will choose whether we would allow trials to let us fall. We have the choice to silence the noise around us and just listen to the still, small voice inside us that tells us to move on...move on to the top! Believe that with GOD, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!
