Do you get weak?

We all get weak at times.

How do we react to our weaknesses?

Some reasons of weaknesses:
1.) We feel useless. We feel unworthy. We feel that we can't give anything good to GOD.
2.) We feel cold-hearted or lukewarm.
3.) Others say we are nothing.
4.) We feel that GOD is distant.
5.) So many problems

Solutions for weaknesses:
1.) We need to CHANGE our way of thinking. It's what we feed our minds and hearts that makes up our character.

James 4:10 (TLB)
"...When you realize your worthlessness before the LORD, HE will lift you up, encourage and help you."

If we think highly of ourselves, GOD doesn't have room in our hearts.

1 Corinthians 1:26-31
"Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."

"The only thing GOD wants from you is your heart." ~Darlene Zschech
NOT your talents, gifts, abilities

2.) CONFESS your sins and repent. Release your faith. ONLY BELIEVE. Remain faithful. Faithful in prayer and meditation.

My testimony:
I get weak, too. But then, I chose to believe that GOD has a plan for me and that HE is faithful. I waited for HIM to restore me and give me revelations. But we must also do our part in prayer and meditation.

I love these verses...

John 6:66-69
66From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.

67
"You do not want to leave too, do you?" Jesus asked the Twelve.

68Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God."

prayer, meditation, fellowship - maintenance needed when inner healing and deliverance are attained

1 Corinthians 7:5
Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

Joshua 1:8
Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
16Be joyful always; 17pray continually; 18give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:25-27

25But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. 27And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.

We only feel cold-hearted or lukewarm when we're straying away from HIS Presence so always examine yourself. Self-evaluation.

3.) CONFIDE in GOD. It's not bad to whine to GOD about others and cry. Release the pain. Surrender everything to GOD.

"My future has never relied on anyone else's opinion of my ability." ~Darlene Zschech

No one really knows of your relationship with GOD except you and GOD. Real worship is when you know your standpoint privately with GOD. You are confident because in GOD's eyes, HE loves us all equally.

2 Corinthians 12:9
But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

Psalm 25:1-3

1[a] To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul;

2 in you I trust, O my God.
Do not let me be put to shame,
nor let my enemies triumph over me.

3 No one whose hope is in you
will ever be put to shame,
but they will be put to shame
who are treacherous without excuse.

Psalm 25:12-21

Ecclesiastes 7:21
Do not pay attention to every word people say,
or you may hear your servant cursing you-

4.) CORRECT yourself and grow. GOD is never distant. GOD is always faithful. GOD is good all the time. Only the devil puts lies in our heads saying/letting us feel that GOD is distant.

"If you need to have the enemy flee from your life, then you need to praise your pathway to victory!" ~Darlene Zschech

"One of the worst effects of letting our negative emotions get on top of us is that they make us feel alienated from GOD."

Proverbs 25:28
Like a city whose walls are broken down
is a man who lacks self-control.

Romans 12:21
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

5.) CELEBRATE and grow.

Psalm 60:12
With God we will gain the victory,
and he will trample down our enemies.

Why celebrate?

Ecclesiastes 7:3-4
3 Sorrow is better than laughter,
because a sad face is good for the heart.

4 The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning,
but the heart of fools is in the house of pleasure.

Happy times generally teach us less than hard times.

We all learn from our problems.

Ecclesiastes 7:14
When times are good, be happy;
but when times are bad, consider:
God has made the one
as well as the other.
Therefore, a man cannot discover
anything about his future.

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,[a] who[b] have been called according to his purpose.

I want to share a story told by Jase Campbell.

The story goes:

There’s a young girl who’s inquiring to a sculptor who’s about to undertake this big project with a boulder. It’s just a massive hunk of rock kind of sitting by itself in a field. (Exact excerpt from the sermon:) The girl says: “So you plan to make a majestic stallion out this rock.. How could you possibly think there’s a majestic stallion in there? And the sculptor tells her: “Well, that’s easy. I just need to chip away everything that does not look like a beautiful stallion.” We need to ask God to chip away everything that does not look like Jesus. When we go out to reach people we need to understand that there are some things we need to unload, we need to get rid of, so we can truly reflect Christ. (end excerpt)

For me, I like weaknesses for in my weaknesses, GOD reveals more of HIMSELF. GOD uses me mightily in HIS ministry.

I don't want to be complacent with just being happy all the time. For with trials/problems, we grow more in CHRIST.

Romans 8:18
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

My past has been my testimony for GOD's glory in my present and my future and my life goes on with its own testimonies for HIS glory alone.

No one is exempted in experiencing trials, let GOD be your ultimate strength.

Make an impact. Make a difference. Make a ripple. Tip the scale.

GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY! GOD IS ALWAYS WITH YOU! HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU!

ALL THE GLORY BELONGS TO GOD ALONE!!!

Wow! About all there is to say is AMEN!
What an awesome post.
God does give us our trials and tribulations to bring us closer to Him. It's so easy to whine abuot it and ignore the message. But when we open ourselves to Him, He reveals His message.
So loved the use of all the scriptures and quotes.
You are a very inspiring woman.
I thank the Lord for His work through you, that you listen to His directions.
God Bless!
