Thankful Thursday

I told myself I wasn't going to post tonight.

I was in pain earlier before I went to midweek service. Well, whole day, I must say. I was thinking that I wouldn't go to service since I already know my mom's preaching. I still accompanied her because I want to support her and I could discern that the Holy Spirit is nudging me to go even if I already know the topic. There was something I know that GOD is something to do in my life. Regardless of the pain I was carrying, I still worshipped the LORD in singing. What even amazed me is that the song that I've been singing over and over this morning was used for the worship songs. It was the last song before the sermon.

Okay I guess you're wondering what she preached about, huh? Well, it's simple. It's about FORGIVENESS. Last year, I used to tell myself, I don't need that topic anymore until last night because I already know how to forgive but this morning was the most difficult. I have been slandered on for how many times already but this one is the toughest for me because it is the time when I chose to obey the LORD in service wholeheartedly. I couldn't really think of anything I've done or said. I RARELY even speak. I just speak when I share for the youths in our cell meetings. Maybe that is what I'm lacking. But then, I asked GOD, "Do I really deserve slander from people who don't know me at all?" I mean the girl just knows my name and where I live and that my mom is their principal. I keep telling myself that she doesn't know the LORD as much as I do so I should understand. But then, the pain is still there. Until GOD used my mom's sermon. Mind if I share it with you? Okay. Don't answer that. I'd still share. hahaha! Oh and please get your Bibles because I won't post the complete verses and you can read the stories as much as you want to. I need you to be as close as you can get to GOD's Word. Let's be intimate with GOD today please. Thank you for your sincerest obedience.

FORGIVENESS

1 John 1:9 Acts 5:31

Definition
  • the act of giving pardon
  • to cease to feel resentment

The 4 Conditions

1.) Repentance
Acts 5:31 Acts 2:38 Luke 7:36-38

2.) Faith
Luke 7:50

3.) Confession
1 John 1:9 Psalm 32:5

4.) Forgiving Others
Matthew 6:15 Luke 6:37

examples:
1.) Being kind to one another
Ephesians 4:32

2.) Forgiveness must be easy for a Christian
Matthew 18:21-27

This is such a powerful sermon which I thought would be very simple to Christians like me but I was proved wrong by GOD. How? There was a young man whom I've known since he was little. His mom did my hair. hehehe! Anyway, not only I but he was also delivered after service. My mom and I found out that he and his sister haven't been talking for years now and they both live in the same roof. He was crying so much. GOD was there and HE is here, as well. Praise GOD for HIS wonderful works and timings!

Oh and amazingly, when I got home, I received an affirmation/reminder/confirmation of GOD's Promises for me and for you, my dear friend. I'll gladly share it with you.

When God leads you to the edge of the cliff, trust Him fully and let go, only 1 of 2 things will happen, either He'll catch you when you fall, or He'll teach you how to fly! 'The power of one sentence! God is going to shift things around for you today and let things work in your favor. God closes doors no man can open & God opens doors no man can close. If you need God to open some doors for you...

Do what? Share this message.

The one who sent this is my former bestfriend's cousin. Well, I still consider her my bestfriend. The sender, Jasper, asked me to send it to others if I believe it. Of course, I believe it. Not as a chain message but as a PROMISE from GOD that I will forever hold in my heart. This truly touched my heart. GOD is truly changing me from the inside out. I can't thank GOD enough for loving me this much.

I therefore conclude that I know and believe that I am forgiven from intentional and unintentional sins I've committed so I have forgiven others, as well. Thank GOD for being faithful to me. Thank GOD today for the trials, for the songs, for the message coming from the very heart of GOD through my mom, for our safety from the cold tonight, for the prayers, for the ability to serve GOD through tithes and offerings (thank GOD for a consistent salary/pay at work), thank GOD for my faithful friends, thank GOD for my loving family, thank GOD for my forever partner, Cody, thank GOD for a beautiful life that lives for HIS glory alone and most importantly, thank GOD for HIMSELF!

So...WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED TODAY FROM GOD? WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL TODAY?

Listen to people around you who will help edify your spirit full of fire for GOD.

GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY! GOD IS ALWAYS WITH YOU - NO IF'S, NO AND'S, NO BUT'S!

Make an impact. Make a difference. Make a ripple. Tip the scale.

ALL THE GLORY BELONGS TO GOD ALONE!!!

P.U.S.H.

When you feel GOD's love, OVERFLOW!

Thankful Thursday is hosted by Iris of Grace Alone. Check out everyone's thankful hearts for our LORD.

Wow! Great post. I hope you are feeling better now. Forgiveness is so important. It's when we don't forgive that we carry such a burden on our shoulders, emptiness in our hearts, and a whole lot of pain. Sometimes it is hard to forgive, but is so very important to do.
May God Abundandtly Bless You my dear sweet friend.
