It's so good to start the year in GOD's presence with GOD's people.

Our pastor asked us earlier tonight at service what our resolutions are. I was thinking to myself. Since I already have one and I plan to stick to it hopefully. I don't want to let GOD down. I even put it as my desktop background to serve as my reminder. For me, it's not a resolution. It's a covenant of my love for GOD. It is all GOD working in my heart!

I believe that if I focus on HIM, everything else follows.

It's just amazing. This is a promising year of the LORD, I believe so. A Recession-FREE year.

First of all, it's funny because the time Cody asked me to be his girlfriend was on the 26th of the month for me. I was wishing it to be 25th since that's Christmas day. hehehe! Amazingly, earlier he informed me out of nowhere that I've accepted him to be my boyfriend on the 25th for U.S. time zone. Since he is the man and that it says in the Bible to submit, I submit on the 25th of the day. hahaha! It's an important fact for me. Also, his birthday is coming up soon. This is rather funny but in GOD's Perfect Timing. Cody has the desire for the unity of Christians. He's wondering why there is a need for different denominations for Christians. Then, he just found out that his birthday is the first day of Christian Unity Month. Amazing! I appreciate simple facts like these. I know it's all GOD!

Second, a friend went to town to visit her niece but ended having service with us. She is a friend whom I've had painful feelings with for some time now. She with me and I with her but all unintentionally. But then, there was a burden in my heart to love her with all the love of GOD. I do not treat her as my enemy. She will always be a friend to me. GOD did it all. What made our reconciliation difficult is that she is from a city miles away from me and she couldn't send text messages coz of her weird cellphone. hehehe! I didn't know that I've hurt her. But then, GOD is amazing. We've met earlier and it was like nothing ever happened. It's amazing how GOD changes people. Also, there was a part in the service wherein our pastor asked us to ask forgiveness and reconcile with 5 people we have hurt and have hurt us. Of course, we may fail and unintentionally hurt our family so I hugged my sister and mom. I went to my friend, too. Amazing how GOD gives the people to you that you need reconciliation with. Our friendship will always be a gift to me. Ate Leigh, thank you so much for the time and effort. I love you with the love of our dear LORD!

Third, after the service, our youth pastor approached me and asked me to be one of the facilitators for a youth camp in Zambales on April. Just as when I am so consumed with the fire of GOD to serve HIM wholeheartedly. More of GOD this 2009!

This is the year of the LORD!

No stickers. No tarpaulins. No posters.

BUT I have a cellphone welcome message that really didn't depart from my mind and heart.

"YOU pour my head with oil, my cup overflows"

This is my sister's cellphone welcome message. My favorite word has to be "OVERFLOW" and that is what's going to happen this year. I believe so.

GOD is a Giver of Spiritual Gifts.

And HE is pouring it to everyone who is willing to be used by HIM. Are you one of them?

Let it flow. You are the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world. Share your light. It is always nice to say that GOD is faithful but GOD deserves our faithfulness, too , don't you think? HE should be first in everything.

Let the fire of GOD consume you all-year round.

The first day and HE is already overflowing in my life.

The most beautiful life is a life with GOD as the center of it all.

I've been asking a lot of questions from GOD. HE answered some in the message earlier. One was a reminder of what I've believed before. Now I should be stern about it. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Now, I should start getting to bed. hahaha! It's almost 12mn and I haven't eaten my dinner yet. Gotta go. hahaha!

When you feel GOD's love, OVERFLOW!

Make an impact. Make a difference. Make a ripple. Tip the scale.
