Amazing by Dennis and Barbara Rainey

This article is really amazing. If you want to walk out now, do so. But I'm telling you, you'll be missing out a lot if you don't read this. Okay now, I don't mean to scare you. hehehe!

Oh yeah...I'm an avid fan of this couple. They're just amazing instruments of GOD. Wonderful insights.

Here is your sneak peek...the important parts of the article.

Have you seen Jesus? I mean really seen Him? Not some kind of 900-foot-tall object, but rather the Jesus Christ who lives in the Bible?

Christ healed the sick, fed the 5,000, and not only walked on water but also made it possible for Peter to do the same. I sometimes wonder what it was like to be Peter as he stepped out of that boat. He had his eyes on Christ and he stepped out and it was solid. Then he saw the wind and began to sink.

I've heard Peter criticized in sermons for seeing the wind and sinking-for his doubt and unbelief. But he still stepped out-he had the faith to get out of the boat and "onto" the water! And he's the only person in history to walk on water, other than Jesus.

What's my point? Have you ever been amazed by His teachings? Have you ever really stepped out and taken Him at His word?

Thanks for the link!

Peter's teachings were amazing. I feel that Peter's lack of faith for a moment is to remind us of what happens when we doubt, or most importantly when we lose sight of Him.

As it said, when he saw Jesus walking on the water, he stepped onto the water in faith, but when he noticed the wind (he lost sight of Jesus) he started to sink.

Another great teaching by a mistake Peter made to teach us to never lose sight!

Good post!
