Walk with GOD

Genesis 5:22-24
"And after he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters. Altogether, Enoch lived 365 years. Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away."

Hebrews 11:5
"By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God."

John 3:13
"No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man."

1 Corinthians 15:20
"But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep."

"Walang pwedeng mauna kay Jesus, Siya ang laging una."

In english, "No one is allowed to go before Jesus, He is always the first."

Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Hebrews 5:7
"During the days of Jesus' life on earth, He offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the One who could save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverent submission."

Not physical death but spiritual death because HE had to be human for us. He did not see death (sin) working in HIS life.

Genesis 6:9
"This is the account of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God."

Micah 4:2-5
2 Many nations will come and say,
"Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
to the house of the God of Jacob.
He will teach us his ways,
so that we may walk in his paths."
The law will go out from Zion,
the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

3 He will judge between many peoples
and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide.
They will beat their swords into plowshares
and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation,
nor will they train for war anymore.

4 Every man will sit under his own vine
and under his own fig tree,
and no one will make them afraid,
for the LORD Almighty has spoken.

5 All the nations may walk
in the name of their gods;
we will walk in the name of the LORD
our God for ever and ever.

"To walk with GOD is to please GOD."

Revelation 3:4
"Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy."

The story of the "PILOT"
There was an airplane almost about to crash. The passengers were panicking.

Then one person asked a little child sitting calmly, "Why aren't you panicking yet?"

The little child answered, "Why would I panic? The pilot is my dad. He'll take me to my destination safely."

3 Ways to Please GOD
1.) Trust GOD
2.) Do good things

Hebrews 13:16
"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."

3.) Avoid sin and temptation

Hebrews 6:4-6
"It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace."

2 Peter 2:22
Of them the proverbs are true: "A dog returns to its vomit," and, "A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud."

Proverbs 13:22
"A good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children,
but a sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous."

1 Thessalonians 4:11
"Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you,"
