My Birthday isn't over YET!!!

I was going to 'skype' with my honey earlier. That was my perfect plan for my birthday and give him a wonderful surprise. BUT it didn't go the way I wanted it to be. I've discerned it somehow. I went home late for skyping and very sad.

I cried for a while. Tried to cheer myself up and encourage myself. I've discerned that GOD still has a few hours left to make up with the lost and wasted time I had at the store.

I just tried to make 'Monte Cristo' sandwiches for dinner to divert the mind. Bad to good. I chose happiness over doom. I enjoyed being busy with what I love doing as a career. But then, I also failed at that for tonight.

Before we get to the top, we undergo trials. We undergo failures.

I wasn't going to give up finding the happiness GOD has intended for me to have for my birthday. I still declare VICTORY!!!

When dinner came, I had my favorite spaghetti (my mom's recipe that she handed down to me). Also, seeing my sister enjoy the 'Monte Cristo' sandwiches made me happy. Seeing how she appreciated it. All throughout the day, I've noticed how my teen sister has been on my side (my kakampi). My mom also tried to make me happy about what I made. I said the sandwiches were 'fake' hahaha! My dad was silent. Just wanted to eat and eat whatever is on the table hahaha! And, I had my favorite pineapple juice (my own unsweetened mix). To top it off, I had Smores Chocolate cake! My favorite flavor for cakes is chocolate. Yum yum yum! It also had caramel on it. I love caramel, too!

Basically, the food I had for dinner made me happy. I'm so shallow, huh? hahaha!

Oh well..GOD is not yet done with you! If your morning was ruined and you felt so upset, GOD still have the afternoon..if not the afternoon, HE still owns your evening! Do not give up on believing for brighter days. HE is always with you.

GOD promised us a beautiful eternal life.

My beautiful devotions for today:
2 Timothy 2:1-26
1You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others. 3Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs—he wants to please his commanding officer. 5Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor's crown unless he competes according to the rules. 6The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. 7Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.

8Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, 9for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God's word is not chained. 10Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.

11Here is a trustworthy saying:
If we died with him,
we will also live with him;
12if we endure,
we will also reign with him.
If we disown him,
he will also disown us;
13if we are faithless,
he will remain faithful,
for he cannot disown himself.
A Workman Approved by God
14Keep reminding them of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. 15Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 16Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. 17Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18who have wandered away from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some. 19Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his,"[a] and, "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness."

20In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. 21If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

22Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. 24And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 25Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

For all the (pre)believers who don't treat us nicely, let us pray for them. Whatever was done to me, I still choose to love GOD and to love HIS people. Forgive and forget. GOD's grace is enough. These are GOD's instructions for all of us. Let us apply it.

I received a wonderful prayer in my email from Ate Cheryl. It made me cry. I'll share it.

Dear God:

The lady reading this
is beautiful, classy and
strong and I love her.
Help her live her life to the fullest.
Please promote her and cause her to excel above her expectations.
Help her shine in the darkest places where it is impossible to love.
Protect her at all times, lift her up when she needs you the most
and let her know when she walks with you;
She will always be safe.

I'd like to acknowledge my ever loving and loyal boyfriend who has been undeniably patient with me. Thank you for being strong when I'm weak. I needed that and still do. I really appreciate it! I'm sorry for being such a failure/problem at times. Please forgive me.

May you enjoy your birthdays to the fullest! GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY! GOD BE WITH YOU ALWAYS AS HE WILL ALWAYS BE! GOD REMEMBERS HIS PROMISES FOR YOU. IF IT SEEMS THAT HE DOESN'T, REMIND HIM JUST LIKE WHAT KING HEZEKIAH DID. ONE OF MY FAVORITE STORIES IN THE OLD TESTAMENT.

Here is Hezekiah's story -> 2 Kings 20:1-20

ALL THE GLORY BELONGS TO GOD ALONE!!!

P.U.S.H.

When you feel GOD's love, OVERFLOW!
