Trials are Blessings

Must I say that again? Even better.

Trials are beautiful blessings.

I don't know if you agree with me about this. Some might even be thinking that trials are hindrances to happiness.

I believe and experience the opposite.

Trials make us grow in character. Trials make us better people (should be). Trials make us stronger. Trials make us more patient. Trials make us persevere more. Trials make us more dependent on GOD. Trials make us seek GOD more.

I don't know about you but these are what trials do to me. That's mainly why I firmly believe that trials are blessings.

Before my dad sleeps, we always pray as a family and we lay our hands on him. This started after the accident. This trial made us a closer and a stronger family grounded on GOD. This trial has also made my dad a better person even with amnesia. There are times that he is very sensible with his words and actions. I could notice the childlike faith in him. I stare a lot at my dad nowadays because I observe every move he makes and every word he says. I couldn't believe that there is so much resentment and fear that he has kept all these years. He bottled them all up and his outlet was being with friends who have bad vices. He is more open, truer and more honest - like a child. The stories he tells us. He could mostly remember the violent past. This trial has made me love my dad more. This trial has made me understand him more. This trial has made me love my family more.

The fifth commandment in the Old Testament is the only commandment that has a promise. I have learned that you don't need a reward just to honor your parents. All you need to do is reach out to them and love them more. I've been a teenager and I was selfish. All I wanted was my happiness. If you feel helpless and unloved, think about your parents. Think about what they feel. Think about their sacrifices. Think about their selfless love for you. All you see is your problems. Why not try looking deeper into their hearts? Love some more. You will never know how deep the wound is if you don't examine it and reach out. You will never know how important your father and mother are if you don't love them more than you do now. A selfless love heals all wounds. That's why JESUS CHRIST died for us.

Don't wait until you lose your parents before you show your love to them. Don't wait for them to show their love to you before you lose them. Love makes things beautiful. If you desire for beautiful changes, LOVE SOME MORE!

Change starts within you.

Trials are my beautiful blessings. GOD uses trials to make me the better person that HE desires me to be. Thank GOD for your trials today! Not because of the rewards/promises after but because you know GOD sees and loves you unconditionally.

ALL THE GLORY BELONGS TO GOD ALONE!!! ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD!!!

GOD LOVES YOU SO MUCH!!! GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY! GOD IS ALWAYS WITH YOU - NO MATTER WHAT!

P.U.S.H.

When you feel GOD's love, OVERFLOW!

Make an impact. Make a difference. Make a ripple. Tip the scale. Be a blessing. Be different.

I so agree with you about trials being blessings. I know that during trials my faith has increased, I have learned to be more patient and my trust in God has increased as well. Trials teach us valuable lessons. I have learned to be joyful during my trials because I know God has everything, everything under control.

Beautiful post my friend
