Practice What You Preach

Double standard is such an issue for me and Cody. We do not want to be called hypocrites so we are accountable to each other. One of his favorite lines is "practice what you preach" since I'm the preacher. hahaha! Boy, do I preach a lot! hahaha!

Here is a story shared with me by one of my youths, Justine. She shared it with me when I told her, "practice what you preach."

Narrator: Monday morning, a pastor boarded a bus, paid his fare, and took his seat. After a few minutes, he realized that the driver had given him too much change. Some people might have put it in their pocket and said, "LORD, thanks for Your provision." But this pastor knew that would be wrong. At the next stop, he walked to the front of the bus with the extra change.

Pastor:
Excuse me, sir. You gave me too much change, and I wanted to return it to you because obviously, you made a mistake.

Driver:
Pastor, I didn't make a mistake. I was at your church last night and heard you preach on HONESTY. I wanted to see if you practice what you preach.

Narrator:
Fortunately, he did!

People may not be watching you but GOD is - ALL THE TIME!

Quote from "Glimpses of an Invisible GOD": Image isn't everything; integrity is.

Integrity is when you do the right thing even if others are not looking.

Make an impact. Make a difference. Make a ripple. Tip the scale. Be a blessing. Be different. Practice what you preach.

GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY! GOD IS ALWAYS WITH YOU - NO MATTER WHAT!

ALL THE GLORY BELONGS TO GOD ALONE!!! ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD!!!

P.U.S.H.

When you feel GOD's love, OVERFLOW!
