GOD's Promises

I was supposed to post this last week because I shared this to the youths last week. I forgot about it because of my busy-ness. Hope this finds you well.

I like sharing what I've learned for each week. This is what I've learned last week.

Do you believe that the Bible is GOD's Love Letter to us? I do.

Ordinary love letters have promises in them. There is always a promise written in a love letter. For example, someone would write about forever loving someone and always being faithful.

Definition:
Promise – a vow, commitment, pledge, covenant, declaration

Which one of you are standing on GOD's promises? Which one of you are waiting for those promises? Which one of you have been waiting for so long now?

For other people, it takes a few days or months but for others, it takes years. For example, while waiting in line at the grocery store, it really is boring if you’re not doing anything. So a wise thing to do is bring a book and read it while you wait in line.

What about waiting for GOD’s Promises?

3 D’s

1.) Do what you are called to do. (FAITH)

It takes a calling to obey GOD fully and wholeheartedly.

Christians have one calling and that is the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20).

One calling, different ministries because of different gifts

I visited one blog “A Place Called Simplicity” and her calling is from Psalm 113:9. While for me, it was revealed to me 3 times is from Isaiah 6:8.

A calling is like a goal.

For example: When we were younger, our parents would usually say, “If you get a perfect score in your exam, I will treat you out to Jollibee or McDonald’s or ice cream.”

1 Peter 2:21
1 Peter 5:10
2 Peter 1:3

2.) Do what is right. (WISDOM)

Definition:
Wisdom – the ability to discern or judge what is true, right or lasting

Proverbs 16:21
Genesis 4:7
Proverbs 10:7

Definition:
Master – one that has control over another or others

3.) Do everything with LOVE.

Proverbs 10:12
Proverbs 15:17
Proverbs 19:22
Proverbs 20:28
Proverbs 21:21
Matthew 22:37-39
Luke 6:35
John 15:9
1 Corinthians 13:4-8

In every calling, there is a reward.

In every command, there is a promise.

Command okay not commandment. hehehe! Because the only commandment in the OT that has a promise is the fifth commandment.

Anyway, hope all is well with you, my friend!!!

You can go check your Bible for the verses up there. Fellowship with GOD through HIS Word. Hold your Bible today and meditate.

ALL THE GLORY BELONGS TO GOD ALONE!!!

P.U.S.H.

GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY! GOD IS ALWAYS WITH YOU - NO MATTER WHAT!

When you feel GOD's love, OVERFLOW!
