My Second Earthly Father

My second earthly father is a pastor. He has been a pastor before I was born. He had pastored my parents, my sister and I when we were younger. I could still remember the time that we (young people) fasted one day in the church building and he talked to us all day. After the fasting time, we all ate noodles and crackers together. One of my beautiful memories. I could still remember how he encouraged my sister and I to perform human videos and dance in our congregation and also in other churches, as well. He encouraged us to join Bible quizzes because he believed in us and desired for us to grow in GOD's Word. He still does.

When I was around 12 years old, I backslid because of immaturity. I lived in sin. I sometimes see our pastor at school (a school that my parents own with other people) and he would always smile at me. One afternoon in 2007, GOD won me back. I chose to go back to my congregation that I left for more than 10 years. Our pastor accepted me back wholeheartedly without judging me in any way. He still believes in me. In fact, I am very humbled that he asked me to attend Bible school. He just never ceases to encourage others.

Today is our pastor's birthday. Pastor Windsor Cabrera. I consider him as my second earthly father. I am so blessed to have him in my life together with his wife, Pastora Tess Cabrera. They are both great and anointed people of GOD. They invited us earlier for the birthday party. We are very honored since I know that they've invited the people close to their hearts. So many of us and so many are adding to the numbers. He is such a blessed and anointed man of GOD. In fact, he has been called to be a guest pastor to many churches outside the Philippines such as Norway, Singapore and others more. Next week, he'll be going to New York. We are very happy for him that GOD is anointing him more and with humility, he accepts it all. He is a true servant of GOD. On November, he'll be visiting Australia, as well. GOD is using him mightily in HIS ministry. For all the trials he has been through, he really deserves to travel the whole world and share GOD's Word to everyone. His life is a testimony of GOD's love, grace and faithfulness. He is highly favored by GOD.

Funny how me, my mom and sister were very hungry earlier as we were headed to the party. We ate so much. Such a nice treat. I saw how GOD blesses our pastor so much because of all the people who came and contributed a lot of goodies to eat for the party. I was also beside a little girl at worship. She is around 4 years old. While we were singing worship, she was also singing and it was amazing coz she knows the lyrics. If little children can worship our FATHER with songs, how more with teens and adults? Let us not stop worshipping our dear FATHER in Heaven.

I'm just amazed to be surrounded by a spiritual family who encourages me to run this race with joy and peace from our GOD. And I would always know that I am never judged by anyone of them because of GOD's Spirit in them. ALL THE GLORY BELONGS TO GOD ALONE!!!
