HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Last night, we already gave our daddy our gifts. When he saw the paper bag, he was so excited and all smiles. He is like a kid nowadays. It's Sunday night here now. My sister greeted him but I did not. I wanted to say it but my lips failed me. That, I do not know why so I just waited for the real day.

The real day has come. This morning, I failed to greet him again as they went to service earlier than me coz my mom is the emcee for today. When I came to service and we had worship, I greeted GOD - HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! Now I know why. The first greeting of this special day is for our Heavenly Father before anyone else. HE created all the fathers in the world.

So now, after GOD and my dad, my greeting is yours. To all daddies, husbands, brothers, uncles - HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! Being a father is not only for those who have children biologically. It can also be someone who fostered a child. It can be someone who babysat or someone who took care of you for a week or so. Most of all, it can also be spiritually.

Without much ado, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

For all the dads in the world, here is an award for you. For your sacrifices and love. I chose the above image because I remembered the "Footprints in the Sand" and I thought of how GOD is being represented in that story as our FATHER. To all the fathers in the world, thank you for carrying the burdens in your family and being great leaders of your homes. You are all one-of-a-kind!

I guess I'm so behind the blog world. I will not regret it though as GOD is doing mighty things in my side of the world. So many updates. I don't know who can be interested to read now since I don't comment to other blogs anymore. Oh well. I'd like to take this opportunity to appreciate faithful friends in the blog world who have never ceased to comment in my blog even if I do not reciprocate. I have been very busy. I've been spending my time with the people I'm ministering to such as young people at school and my long-ago friends. Been very busy with work which is also GOD's ministry for me. During my free time, I pursue GOD more and I can never be thankful enough for every breakthrough HE has been giving me. I've read in a book that before the storm comes, you must be prepared in every aspect so you will never be blown away when the strong wind comes. Your preparation is your shield against the works of the enemy. My secrets: GOD's Word, prayer, worship, fellowship with believers and intimacy with GOD. As what my sister shared to me...having secrets means selfishness. So now, I am gonna share my secrets. hehehe!

Okay...I'd like to recognize the people who have been faithfully commenting on my page since I became their friend. You are very much appreciated, my friends. (order of appearance in my comments from 2 of my latest blogposts hehehe)

What a wonderful post to all the dads out there. And especially to our one and only Father God!
I apologize for not visiting. I haven't been visiting many at all lately.
It sounds like life is going well for you. I'll e-mail soon, as it's been such a long time since we've chatted. Have greatly missed you. Love and blessings to you my dear sister in Christ.

I understand. And you've made up for it through this blog. Very thoughtful of you, ate. :)

I believe even the others would understand. Whenever you're not around in the blogosphere, just the same, you're making the same impact in another place. So keep going. Keep shining.

Your ministry is helping others and you are doing that, whether you respond on other people's blogs or not. Just keep doing what you are doing and you will bless others and in turn be blessed!
