How to Restore Relationships

This is my morning devotions last Monday but I've just found the time to post it right now. Been very busy.

Okay here it goes (not full article)...

Read Numbers 5:5-8

We may think of restitution as justice for the wronged party and punishment for the offender. But restitution offers more: It builds a bridge between the two parties, paving the way for relationships to be restored. By confessing the sin and compensating for any loss, the offender no longer has to deal with guilt. Receiving restitution and more frees the injured party from feeling unfairly treated.

Forgiveness from GOD coupled with responsibility toward the other person are key to restoring relationships. In JESUS' eyes, those broken relationships are always our responsibility. If someone has something against us, he calls us to go and make it right (see Matthew 5:23-24). If we have something against another, we're responsible to take the initiative to settle our differences with them (see Matthew 18:15). It's not always comfortable. But it's always the right thing to do.

Do you feel taken advantage of? Maybe it's time to engage someone in conversation rather than detach from your relationship with them. Or maybe you've unintentionally mistreated a friend...you owe them money or lunch or a favor. Consider what needs to be done and take action: Repay the debt, replace the item and apologize for a wrong. Do whatever it takes to restore the relationship. Do it because it pleases GOD and because your relationships will be richer for it.

Hope it is a revelation for you or better yet, a conviction of the Holy Spirit in your heart. Be humble enough to say you're sorry with no excuses or blaming. I don't know why some people have the habit of saying "I'm sorry...it was your fault" or "I'm sorry...it was not my fault. It's because of..." Excuses or blaming added is not genuine apology. Drop it off. Give up your pride and just say, "I'm sorry." That's all it takes then let GOD do the rest.

Behind the Curtains

Humility is being behind the curtains. And being satisfied with that.

As it is written...

Matthew 23:12
"For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted."

I have learned a lot about humility and pride. One of the deepest emotional struggles of everyone is pride. Competition has become the sense of identity nowadays.

But JESUS CHRIST has humbled HIMSELF. Our GOD has humbled HIMSELF and laid HIS life for us. What do we have that we can exalt? Nothing.

Although, GOD uses people to recognize our genuine efforts. We may want to be unseen and unnoticed but some people really want to acknowledge the fact that you've made them feel special. But with this, we must remain humble. We must remain satisfied that even if we aren't acknowledged, we must still do what GOD has called us to do. Our kindness should not depend on the recognition of others. Our deeds are seen by GOD and that alone should satisfy us. Let your heart's motives stay in tune with GOD's Perfect Will.

In the eyes of GOD, no sin is bigger than the other that's why it is written, "all has sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD (Romans 3:23)." You are not spiritually cleaner than anyone. I am not more righteous than anyone. I am what GOD made me to be. Without HIM, I am nothing. I will trust in HIM for who HE is. JESUS CHRIST CAME TO SAVE THE WORLD - not only you. GOD created everyone. GOD loves everyone. No favoritism. GOD does not love Christians more than non-Christians. GOD does not compare. HE loves fairly. Real love is loving the unlovable. Christians are chosen to love and pray for the spiritual needy. JESUS CHRIST came to heal the sick, as it is written (Matthew 9:12). One of the purposes why you were gifted with faith is because GOD gave you the heart to love and pray for the people who needs them the most. GOD gave you knees for kneeling as a sign of total submission and humility to HIS Reverence. We say others are evil. What is the initial reaction? We turn away from them instead of praying for them and believing that our GOD can change them. Our GOD is their GOD, too. If you believe that, then don't be selfish. Share your GOD to others. Do not let your Light go out. Share it. You are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. GOD said that because of HIS purpose for you.

Do not ever forget these verses:

Matthew 5:1-15

The heart should not hold any exemptions from everyone. Love everyone. Do not be picky. You must be afraid, what if GOD has a certain requirement for those HE will choose to love? Good thing HE did not look at your sins when HE saved and loved you. OUR GOD IS GOOD! BE A REFLECTION OF HIS GOOD LOVE AND GRACE!

Wanna hear a testimony of GOD's love and grace? There was once a student of black magic in India. He traveled the sky spiritually one night. A little boy was praying down below while at a worship service then he began to pray, "LORD, bind the powers of darkness in the air right now." The spirit in the sky was suddenly surrounded and spiritually tied by angels of the LORD. Good thing the boy didn't command the angels to kill him. He stayed there for days. After he was let loose, he accepted CHRIST as his personal Savior. He has a book. I forgot to ask what the book title is and his name. hehehe! Goosebumps? hahaha! Good! Now you're all pumped up for the GOSPEL! ~This is one of the stories shared by one of the speakers at the Inner Healing and Deliverance Conference I attended summer last year if I'm not mistaken. Kind of in my own words since I can't remember clearly every word.

A Divine Revelation

I was in pain earlier asking GOD what I should do and feel. I was asking how I should react knowing that I am the only one who most probably believes sternly about something. I would not want to hurt anyone so I won't be specific anymore. I waited for a revelation coz something really broke my heart. No specifics. hehehe! Good thing GOD is my Comforter. I praised my way to victory - GOD's Victory over the enemy! No Christian is immune from pain. I still get hurt but good news: GOD is my peace and joy! And this is the exact revelation that I needed. I am glad that there are still optimistic people out there who knows who their GOD is. I thank GOD for continuously working in your lives. I know HE will never stop because HE is the GOD of REVOLUTION! May you have GOD's Revival and spiritual breakthrough all the time. More of HIM in your life! GOD IS OUR PROMISE KEEPER!

Don't Give Up!

1 CORINTHIANS 10:13 The Message
13 No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the
course of what others have had to face. All you need to
remember is that God will never let you down; He'll never let
you be pushed past your limit; He'll always be there to help
you come through it.

All of us have been tempted to lose hope and give up. But we
always have a choice: focus on God and stay in faith, or focus
on the problem and give up.

Problems -- no matter how huge they seem to us -- are no
problem to God. Nothing is too hard, or complicated, for God to
solve. But God wants us to trust Him.

So what should you do when you are being tempted and feel like
giving in and giving up?

Refuse!

Just keep your focus on the Lord and rejoice in His
faithfulness. Remember that God cannot lie, and will never
fail. God will see you through.

HEBREWS 10:23 NKJ
23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without
wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

When the devil tries to steal your faith, he tries to get you
to quit speaking in agreement with the Word of God. Don't let
it happen! Hold fast to speaking your faith! Keep on saying
what the Word of God says about you and your situation. Don't
be moved by the circumstances.

GALATIANS 6:9 NIV
9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time
we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Don't grow weary. Keep your eyes on the Lord. His Word will
work and produce a harvest of blessing in your life. Don't
doubt it!

Treat me as I Treat My Neighbor

This is such a beautiful insight...again...from one of my favorite authors! Max Lucado!


Are you aware that this is what you are saying to your Father? Give me what I give them. Grant me the same peace I grant others. Let me enjoy the same tolerance I offer. God will treat you the way you treat others.
In any given Christian community there are two groups: those who are contagious in their joy and those who are cranky in their faith. They’ve accepted Christ and are seeking him, but their balloon has no helium. One is grateful, the other is grumpy. Both are saved. Both are heaven bound. But one sees the rainbow and the other sees the rain.
Could this principle explain the difference? Could it be that they are experiencing the same joy they have given their offenders? One says, “I forgive you,” and feels forgiven. The other says, “I’m ticked off,” and lives ticked off at the world.
It’s as if God sends you to the market to purchase your neighbor’s groceries saying, “Whatever you get your neighbor, get also for yourself. For whatever you give him is what you receive.”
Let’s take this a step further. Suppose your neighbor’s trash blows into your yard. You mention the mess to him, and he says he’ll get to it sometime next week. You inform him that you’ve got company coming and couldn’t he get out of that chair and do some work? He tells you not to be so picky, that the garbage fertilizes your garden. You’re just about to walk across the lawn to have a talk when God reminds you, “Time to go to the market and buy your neighbor’s groceries.” So you grumble and mumble your way to the store, and then it hits you, “I’ll get even with the old bum.” You go straight to the skim milk. Then you make a beeline to the anchovies and sardines. You march right past the double-chocolate ice cream and head toward the okra and rice. You make a final stop in the day-old bread section and pick up a crusty loaf with green spots on the edge.
Chuckling, you drive back to the house and drop the sack in the lap of your lazy, good-for-nothing neighbor. “Have a good dinner.” And you walk away.
All your brilliant scheming left you hungry, so you go to your refrigerator to fix a sandwich, but guess what you find. Your pantry is full of what you gave your enemy. All you have to eat is exactly what you just bought. We get what we give.
Some of you have been eating sardines for a long time. Your diet ain’t gonna change until you change. You look around at other Christians. They aren’t as sour as you are. They’re enjoying the delicacies of God, and you’re stuck with okra and anchovies on moldy bread. You’ve always wondered why they look so happy and you feel so cranky. Maybe now you know. Could it be God is giving you exactly what you’re giving someone else?

Before, I do not know how I would share about Inner Healing and Deliverance since I don't want to be posting original materials of the church who shared this fact stated in the Bible and GOD never stopped speaking to my heart then. Now, I am more burdened so I decided to search for their website or just anything in the internet. I did my homework. Now, I'd like to share with you a different level of spiritual breakthrough. David Clarke is a Christian marriage counselor. His book (A Marriage after GOD's Own Heart) moved me so much. Bishop Art Gonzales and his team do prayer crusades everywhere in the globe. We had the opportunity to meet him and witness the ministry GOD has entrusted him. Now I know there is a divine purpose as to why I have met these great men of GOD.

Before, I would stop myself from posting about Inner Healing and Deliverance because of the copyright but now I have found a different way to introduce them, I am so glad I have been gifted the wisdom that only comes from GOD.

I will post and search more soon. I will do more research and will contact the pastors if you need real help with INNER HEALING AND DELIVERANCE.
