Friendship

“Be courteous to all, but intimate with few, and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence. True friendship is a plant of slow growth, and must undergo and withstand the shocks of adversity before it is entitled to the appellation.” ~George Washington

"Real friends NEVER trample on your dreams. Real friends NEVER leave you when others forsake you. Real friends NEVER take you for granted. Real friends are selfless. Real friends are interested with knowing everything about you. Real friends listen more rather than talk." ~me

There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother. ~Proverbs 18:24 (NLT)

“Though we drifted apart in distance I still think of you as being right here. And although we have many new friends, it is our friendship that means the most to me.” -unknown

“Friendship marks a life even more deeply than love. Love risks degenerating into obsession, friendship is never anything but sharing.” -Elie Wiesel

“People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care.” -John Maxwell
