I must admit...I was the "shy" worshiper. When I was younger and active in church activities, I was so shy in worshiping even if I always get on stage to perform. GOD turned it all around. When HE gave me a different level of spiritual breakthrough, I have learned to raise my hand up high in the air - as what our pastor said, it is a sign of worship, humility and victory. I believe it takes courage to raise a hand. But I was never convinced back then when he preached about that. I was still shy. It was when GOD started working in my life abundantly. It was when HE was moving me onto a higher level of faith and worship. I have witnessed my sister raise her hand up high whenever our pastor ask something. I went to their church anniversary and it was awesome. When their pastor ask them something, they raise their hands. It was then that I saw submission to their leaders. Not just a gesture but a gesture of submission and humility. It is when you are free and more in love in CHRIST that you learn to raise your hands up so high without shame because you know that you are giving your life to your SAVIOR - whatever other people are thinking and saying. GOD knows the motives of our hearts, anyway. HE is the only Judge of our lives. First, GOD will purify your hearts and give you a new character. Then, HE will give you a new level of worship - without doubt and shame.

These two songs were sung at our church this morning for the praise and worship. I thank GOD for the life of the music team. Some call them worship team but I'd rather call them music team because all of us are worshipers. All of us are the worship team of our FATHER. I thank GOD in the life of Kuya Jay Daoana, the worship leader, because he is so anointed and he's been serving the music ministry for more than 20 years now. I thank GOD for the beautiful songs they've been introducing the congregation every now and then.

One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I just care about giving all what GOD deserves and that is true worship. When you're worshiping, do not worry about others. Just focus on praising and worshiping GOD with all of you. HE will be your ultimate Judge, after all - not other people. So whatever you do, give your best to GOD.
